Enjoy precious time out recharging at Woodville Community a secluded community garden project right in the heart of Keighley. Supported by other likeminded groups, small businesses and community CIC groups delivering their individual special blend of nature connection activities and learning, supporting communities and individuals.

Join Val developing a medicinal herb garden, a botanical project where we seasonally learn together. A hidden space to unwind and connect with nature, gain self care experience through gentle outdoor Tai Chi and Qi Gong, green therapy workshops, crafting, journaling, or by botanical alchemy, blending essential oils. Most of all enjoying this magical green space, having fun through nature connectedness and new experiences.

Blossom & Balance Holistic Wellness Workshop 

Blossom & Balance Workshops help you reconnect with yourself and enhance wellness through nature, movement, and scent. In this half-day session, you’ll explore green therapy, learn to create your own apothecary wellness space, practice Tai Chi for strength, balance and tranquillity, craft a personal botanical fragrance to promote emotional balance and relaxation. 

Refreshments Provided – Come prepared for the weather conditions – £45 per person

Zen & Zest Tai Chi Community/Corporate Session 

Community Group Tai Chi Class in a Woodville Garden (not open to the public) 

Experience the gentle art of Tai Chi surrounded by the tranquillity of a Woodville Garden. This community class welcomes all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners, and offers a friendly space to move, breathe, and cultivate inner peace together. Set outdoors amidst nature, the session focuses on slow, mindful movements and deep breathing to support relaxation, flexibility, and overall well-being. 

Join Val in a private nurturing environment, where you’ll benefit from personalised guidance and the restorative power of the open air. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Sessions run in all weather, so do check the forecast and dress appropriately.

Nurture & Nourish: Group Wellness Workshop 

Step into a session of gentle healing, connection, and renewal. Nurture & Nourish is a holistic wellness experience designed to nourish your body, calm your mind, and reconnect you with nature’s rhythms. During this immersive group workshop, you’ll be guided through a blend of self-care practices that support balance and well-being: 

Tai Chi for Inner Balance 
Begin with a calming Tai Chi session, where slow, flowing movements and mindful breathing help you centre yourself, reduce stress, and enhance body awareness. 

Hands-On Herb Gardening 
Connect with the healing power of plants. Learn to grow and care for your own herbs, discover their medicinal and culinary uses, and take home a small potted herb to continue your wellness journey. 

Aromatherapy & the Senses 
Explore the world of essential oils and their therapeutic benefits. Through a sensory experience, you’ll create your own personalized aromatherapy blend to support relaxation, focus, or emotional balance. 

Throughout the session, enjoy a warm and welcoming group atmosphere, guided reflection, and space to slow down and reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the natural world.
